What does life coaching involve?

Life Coaching is designed to help you achieve what you want out of life.  You will work with your Coach to identify those aspects of your life that you want to change or improve.  Once you know where you want to go, your Coach will help you plan how to get there, initiate change, keep you motivated and support you to reach your goal.

What areas of life do you deal with?

Pretty much anything that you want help with!  For example, you might want to get fit but find that this is just not happening.  You might be dissatisfied with your work life but are not sure what to do about it.  Perhaps your home is filling up with clutter but you feel helpless to stem the flow.  Maybe you want to start your own business but are not sure how to get started.

How does Coaching differ from Counselling?

Although there is some overlap between coaching and other talking therapies, coaching is designed for mentally healthy people, who just want to get more out of life.

How does coaching work?

Sessions may be conducted face to face or over the telephone and are usually scheduled for an hours duration.  The process is open ended and coaching can continue as long as the client wishes.  However, most clients find that a great deal can be achieved in between 6 to 10 sessions, although it is possible to make significant changes in as few as 4 sessions.

How can I find out if Coaching will suit me?

A single introductory session of one hours duration may be booked for new clients who want to experience a "coaching taster" at a cost of £60
